Hello LPBC,
In preparing for Sunday, let us remember this.
Christ’s atoning death ratified the inauguration of the new covenant, in which access to God under all circumstances is guaranteed by Christ’s one sacrifice that covers all transgressions . - J.I. Packer
I’m really looking forward to this Sunday. I joked with the church last night at Bible Study that this upcoming Sunday we would have two services in one to make up for what we missed. :) While we will not be doing that, here is what you can expect this Sunday.
First, prepare your hearts for the Lord’s Supper. Second, read John 9 in advance and pray for the preaching and hearing of God’s Word. Third, set some time aside for our evening service where we will be back in the book of Proverbs. Finally, remember Sunday School for two courses: Membership Matters and Meeting with God. Both courses start at 9:30am.
Men
Gentlemen, remember our Men’s Breakfast this Saturday at 8:30am. We will, Lord willing, cover chapter 16 in Speaking of Jesus. Please reply my to email or invite if you have not already done so. We need a volunteer to cook or bring breakfast foods.
