First, Jesus’ coming was voluntary, as He came to identify with us.
Second, Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Everywhere Jesus went, He was helping others.
Third, Jesus came to give His life as a ransom for many.
The word ransom means to release by the payment of a price. Jesus said He had come to give His life as a redemption price “for many.” What a beautiful picture of what Jesus did on the cross. He paid the price. Mark 10:32
